Robbinsville Township deeply values its senior citizens, and some members of our community have been tarnished by illness, loneliness, diminished capacity and a loss of independence. Family and friends may want to help, but do not know how.
Sometimes, there just isn't anyone around to help. In either case, folks have turned to the Township of Robbinsville "Meals on Wheels" program for help. Meals on Wheels helps homebound residents to remain independent, maintain nutritional health, act as a referral source and to live their life with dignity.
The Mercer County Nutrition program via Whitson’s Food Service Company is delivering meals to the Vincent J. Calcagno Robbinsville Senior Center Monday through Friday. Robbinsville Meals on Wheels partners with the Senior Center to provide hot meals to our homebound residents, regardless of age. Meals are delivered between the hours of 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. In addition, Mercer County T.R.A.D.E. is picking up and delivering meals for its clients.

Volunteering with Meals on Wheels (MOW) provides the opportunity to make a direct and meaningful difference in the quality of someone's life. Volunteering also can help an individual grow both personally and professionally, explore alternative career directions, develop lasting friendships with clients and other volunteers, meet new people and gain hands on experience and training.
Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver not only vital nutrition, but more importantly a welcoming dose of friendship and a lasting social connection. MOW welcome volunteers from churches, synagogues, schools, corporations and others in the community willing to generously donate their time and talents so the organization can continue serving the needs of Robbinsville Township for decades to come.
Donated funds will only be used for Robbinsville Meals On Wheels Incorporated food purchases and operating expenses to benefit our homebound residents. If you are a resident in need, please call Executive Director Jodi Marra at the number listed above, Senior Center Manager Beth Rinyu, or SC Assistant Pat Dupp at 609-259-1567.
